Chocolate Tasting Workshop
All about flavours and specialty cacao beans!

In these workshops, it reveals the flavours of different varieties of cacao beans from different countries, including Peru, Madagascar, Venezuela and Indonesia...the growth of cacao plants and the proper way to enjoy specialty chocolate, this mini-workshop only takes 30 to 45 minutes, it could be held in your office and become a corporate team building function.
Chocolate Pairings
Our chocolates have a wide range of flavours and can pair with wine, sake, cheese, tea, coffee, whisky, gin and Chinese spirit... Due to the varieties and terroirs of the cacao beans, each variety of cacao beans carries different flavours, it’s more complex than the commercial chocolate in supermarket. Therefore it offers a different tasting notes to match or enhance the flavours of different food and beverage, then enrich the journey of tasting.
Similar to the chocolate tasting, it could be an intimate conversation starter and a networking function.

Bean-to-Bar Workshop
Chocobien’s Bean-to-Bar workshop is an unique experience of chocolate making. Bean-to-Bar chocolate making is a trendy and more advance culinary skills that different from the conventional uses of couverture chocolate. It's the way for a craft chocolate maker to make fine chocolate and develop creativity with their craft chocolate. This workshop covering history, theory and practical skills of transforming cacao beans to a chocolate bar. You will be taught to make and temper your own chocolate bars, then mix with different toppings, finally take home with beautiful and delicious chocolate. After this workshop, you will be able to make your own chocolate from cacao beans at home!

Cacao Farm Tour

Step into the world of rare Cacao Farm in
Hong Kong!
Explore a specialty cacao farm dedicated to preserving and cultivating the specialty cacao varieties including the finest cacao varieties in the world - white bean Criollo from Ecuador, awards winning varieties from Philippine, Hainan Island and Taiwan Ping Tung.

In this tour, participants will walk through the cacao farm, to view the growth of cacao tree and manual pollination of cacao flowers, cacao fruits, to understand the life cycle of germination, seedlings and formation of cacao fruits, then coming of cacao bean. The final part - experience the process of different steps of handcraft chocolate making from the cacao beans, include sorting, roasting, winnowing, grinding, and finally taste the cacao products.

We will explain the art and science of cacao growth and the process of craft bean to bar chocolate. The second half of the tour is tasting of cacao tea, different types of bean to bar chocolate and pour-over specialty coffee!
